today's gender & sexuality lecture was very fun & interesting!! dr. mac was very cute when she tried to imitate those prominent figures during the taisho period of japan. especially how men try to look into the women's collar in the past. the back of neck i mean. (nowadays, where do guys look!? the front!! who cares about the back of necks anymore? tsk.) all because the neck was considered the sexiest part of a woman's body during tokugawa & meiji period. that explains why women wore their kimono with the back of their *collar* pulled back and down. and men will try to peep. haha..
ryan gave me a lift to novena, and from there i went to funan to get a new monitor. yeahh.. was talking to dear online last night. halfway thru' the monitor crashed. boOoooo.... another 380 bucks gone... kept tellin' dear this year is just not my year.. everything is spoilt... got myself this big and nice philips lcd monitor. haha! 17-inch and it's much bigger than the old 17inch that i had. not very used to it. haha. oh maybe i should get new speakers soon. only one of them has sound~ for the monitor, cousin gave me a slight discount! shhhh...haha..thanks gor! had to walk with the big box to the bustop which was like 200 metres away? then took the bus for 40min. can't take cab... must save!!!! when i reached my stop, it was raining. so pathetic larh!!
went for my haircut on wednesday alone too. spent quite a bit that day too. hehs. so many presents to buy... today's mom's birthday by the way.. just started to talk a bit to her.
i don't wish to be independent for too long too. i want to be dependent on you when you're back... it's really quite hard for others to understand what we're going through..unless they're going through the same thing... like sharlene, bet she'll understand. i'm happy for her that she's able to meet her tungtung very very soon! for me & d', we are even thinking of how we will actually react when we get to see each other again... haha.. soon, just 53 days left. i love you dear..

yeap. settled the hotel payment finally.... i think i am quite an intimidating friend eh?? hmmm... haha! maybe~~ i just don't like last min changes... very *me* to show unhappiness when that kinda thing happens.. but!! i was okay last night... haha..could have been worse man..just thought that the extra amt of money wasn't worth it at all...let's just hope that the trip will come soon and we can all take a break from our hectic study lives!!! =)
110 for hotel 197 for jetstar air tix. 307SGD altogether for the trip. so jr, me, ps & dear, let's pay this amt back to andrew!! erm. wait till i figure out how k. =) most probably thru bank acct transaction. wanna read microforms tmr...at 8am. *frown* oh. & my j-lang test early this morning was a disappointing one. cannot get my 90% already. haha..only studied 4 hrs for it after my interview with mrs. mayumi yesterday afternoon. she is such a nice person!!! gave us a lot of info for our project~ =) she sure helped us out.

anyway! problem solved! haha..thou different flights, we will still end up in the same place n' ard the same time as jeanie n' andrew!! hmmmm...now my hotel confirmation email is not here yet... come quick! haha..
the meeting this afternoon was good. got many details down. now we just have to fill in the exact info. then gaO dim! no good food coz' peifang, tam & ninh all had something on. so me n' ryan went to the interchange to have lunch. well, only me lah. we drank kopi too. talked so much. haha.. he kena violetitis!! syndrome includes verbal diarrhoea. it's always like that. we talk & talk & talk.. went into watson still talk. stood near the fountain and we talked for another 10-15 mins. hahahh... jokes & funny stuff. made me laugh until i felt numb in the face. ryan goh! lei hai ngor gor hou pang yao lei gar~!!!! thanks for bringing daryl to me too!! dear, ryan wants you to come back after 28th. so he can entertain you properly while i study for my last 3 papers. haha!
oh i crossed the same traffic light so many times today. i walked home after ryan left. saw my mom after crossing, so we crossed back to go ntuc. jason is coming for dinner. she wants to buy some more food. ( dear, next time u come also will have this type of treatment. haha! ) then when we paid, we saw 2nd uncle paying at the oppo counter too! then, 3 of us walked home n' crossed the light tog. they hestitated whether to buy 4d not. yeah they wanted, scared the numbers will open. so we crossed back!! siao!! i cross so many times larh! and mom won 2 pairs. haha!! but the very little winnings type. hao3 guo4 mei2 you3!! :) i am happy. can tell arh?

now i'm waiting for andrew to give me his passport expiry date. then i can book the air tickets.. :) yes! we are going to bangkok from 9th to 13th dec!! okay let's talk about my day in town.
supposed to eat at suki sushi in cineleisure...hahah.. but jamie-san and ruth-san went to yuki no yaki instead..made me walk into suki sushi and couldn't find them.. hmmm..haha.. yeahh but it was quite fun at yuki no yaki too. just that no sashimi & the nice choco puffs.. we had the steamboat & sushi.. i ate the least i think. ate a few plates of sushi. they concentrated on the steamboat n bbq more than i did. i said 'onaka ga ookii desu' as we walked out of the place. (my stomach is big). hahha..and ruth laughed until she couldn't make it larr... hahah..i teared after laughing with her..
after i finished eating, i puked. ohHHhhh nooOoooo.. i am a aneroxic!!! as if arh!!! hahahah.. nahh.. i just felt really uncomfortable after eating... like too full... but it's not as if i stuffed myself with a lot. i ate n rested a while. i swear i have eaten sushi buffet in greater amount before lo. i felt so stuffy inside for like 2 hrs after we left the restaurant. walked ard in far east for another hr plus... then i think i looked horrible n weak. hahah.. ruth, jiehan & emily took me to the toilet. i think the stinky toilet helped!!! hahah.. i squatted down & coughed. the 2nd or 3rd time i got everything that was causing my uncomfort out. hmmm.. abit gross yea? sorry!!!!!!! but i just think cannot eat sushi & steamboat tog larh..the 3 of them ate more of the steamboat n bbq. i ate half sushi half steamboat. and i puked. i kept telling jiehan when we were shopping, that if someone were to punch my stomach, i swear i will puke right into his face. =X haha! yeah lo, in the end really puked. just that it's in the toilet.
all of them bought something except me... i am so *guai*. i saw this pair of beautiful sandals!!!!!! at far east. it was gorgeous!! but i didn't buy them.. sobx sobx. 27 bucks. will be so worth it. i like them a lot. arhhhh.. very nice larh! but i didn't even want to try them. cos i know i will be unable to resist the temptation then. then i walked out of the shop with that kinda depressed mood....[i am over-exaggerating i think. haha.] but the sandals really caught my attention so muchhhh.. =( give me a few days to get over them~
we treated ruth to the turkish ice cream at far east. hahah! she's so cute. our great pianist. grade 8 got distinction!! went for tuition after that. i was so mad at meifang. when will she really start to practise & revise really hard???
i wanna bathe, book the tics & sleep!!! tmr's a long day~ dear, sorry to have woken you up just now!! =P you decide when you wanna come back!! i am fine.. but once i saw the date, i felt very happy. hahah..

me with ginny, kaiwen & kailing at the playground!! finally got to know kaiwen & kailing.. always see them in tutorial class but nvr been able to get to know them. haha..finally..my 2 new friends! 
yeah, with my timer. i told everyone to squat when in fact there was plenty of space. haha.. very dumb!!
hahah...i dunno why...but i like this picture...! although in the end, only ginny & i made stoopid faces :)
there's something very weird with the moon tonight.. it was so round and beautiful.. then this thick & long smooooky layer came and blocked it. very *shen qi*... and that caused my whole family to be crappy. they gave stoopid reasons for that layer which appeared. hmmm..haha!
it's so nice... the block and trees are too dark to be seen. haha ginny kept asking me to switch between flash n non-flash modes.
ginny tan and violet chew! we stayed back at the void deck to chat for a while after everyone left. glad i met up with her tonight.. hor ginny??? haha..
the grandchildren who were present tonight.. with our ah ma! oh there were many aunties & uncles ard too but i think i shouldn't post their pics up!! yeapp. :) some old couples walked to us and said we are such a big family & we actually maintained chinese culture...yeahh.. we brought down a table, we brought down mooncakes, tea & drinks & we hanged up many lanterns!! haha.. the tan family!!!!!! happy mid-autumn festival!!

did my micrform-viewing. ryan keeps laughing at me loudly whenever i say i reach school early to do my microform-viewing. tskkk.. today, dr mac's lecture sent me to sleep.. then lunch freshened me up! usual lunch kaki. ryan gohhhh.. i ate food from the malay stall.. had my rendang beef & curry veggie. forgot to tell auntie not to give too much rice. i had this mountain in the end. and i actually finished everything. yeah everything! haha.. then when i said 'oh no, i ate a lot' to ryan, he actually replied 'don't worry, i won't tell d' you ate more than me.' hmmmmm... nvm. i confess now. haha..
got the questions for my japanese informant planned out. :) holiday is going to be so packed. think only monday is free (but have tuition.) tuesday is my sushi buffet day with my j-lang friends!! (ruth-san to jaime-san to emily-san desu!!) wed is project 2225 & good meal day! thurs is interview with mrs saito at swensens! yeah we're going to give her a treat.. :) there goes my holiday!! for projects...but i don't even know how to start my chinese term paper & j-lang project lo.. oh no..

next week will be my break. haha. what break is this. all the project meetings and interview with my japanese informant.. well, at least i know i'll have 2 good outings for good meals!! that's the only good thing abt the break. one is sushi buffet & the other is with my js2225 grp. ryan n all. we're either going to have steamboat or beef horfun.
tomorrow's j-lang lesson, we'll gonna have a speech. haha. it's just to read out your composition. and we have to bring photos of either our holiday or part-time job in the june hols and talk about the pictures. so kiddy right? :)
thanks to dixie for her compliment last night. haha.. yeap the pants and shoes are very nice.. but i exchanged the shoes for a bigger pair and only brown's available.. bleah. make do with it la. and i got 'scolded' for being too "shou4" by jiehan today. hahah.. first time leh. but jiehan! where got shou4!?!? slimmer than before but still so big size.... like what sis said, i have to tone my arms........ tsk. how?? oh ryan taught me how to tone the butt & thighs today... haha! had fun talking to him & zhenyang in the lib today. funny guys.

oh! this is the skirt i bought ytd... i think i like the pants more now. it's so comfortable~
look at the feast. haha they actually bought onions rings & nuggets for the farewell.. my ninja turtle & peng keong fried the food....thanks peng keong, edwin (n turtle), deva & jufri!!! too bad jiamin didn't arrive in time for the feast.
the little thing on the top right hand corner is my favourite food!! beef chimichanga~* think peng *jia liao* for me. got tomatoes in it and it tasted different from usual. haha.. nicey~

anyway, i'll be going for work later.. last day!! bought new batteries for the digicam. yeahh.. jiamin will be coming down later in the night and take pics with us! okay since i'm not reading the stuff, i'll start to do my j-lang homework. :) i can see another $80+ flying away tomorrow~ gonna get my concealer & shoes! shopping makes us girls feel happy. and if our partners feel happy for us, all the more better! haha.. 200 bucks gone this month on shopping!! amazingly, my headaches, dizzy spells & noseblocks disappeared today!! shopping helps~!!!!!!!! =P

i m sick... went to school & within 3 mins, 2 friends told me i looked pale. june & my friend. i think i really didn't look too good. but stoopid ryan said i always look that pale. =( stupid.

all my* sneakers are diesel sneakers. my sister's not wearing them anymore, so they're mine. muahaha. they have 'd' on them all over. erm, i just find that quite amazing.. :) oh, i'm walking all over you, dear!! haha! =P think i bully you more now.
attended my j-lang tutorial early in the morning today. first question posed by tan sensei. "kare/kanojo ga imasu ka?" (which just means do u have a bf/gf) so ruth, jiehan & i formed a grp. both of them asked me la. haha.. up to no good. so of course i replied and answered 2 other related questions. think tan sensei saw our grp quite active. when the discussion stopped, it was his turn to ask one of the students. yeah yeahhh.. he picked me. so dear, i described you. hahah.. my friend emily actually said 'sugoi ne!!' when i said 'kare ga imasu'. anyway, tan sensei kept asking jiehan to continue asking questions.. haha until he himself started asking. so yeah lo.the class knows where you are now, what you're doing, how we met, you're actually my university friend's cousin, we met in nov last yr. hahahha.. not bad eh? i actually replied everything in japanese!!
thanks for that piece of bad news just now arh.. i really didn't think too much into it. as in i just said if you really like the 2 units, just stay back. i dunno what will the consequences be actually..maybe i'll just die. haha.

trying hard to look for some information for my js2228 project now. oh no... everything is in a mess now... my studies... d' is going to boink my head. haha.. having this chinese literature quiz on tuesday & i have yet to start my revision. not a good sign, violet. i have the books for my js2225 project but haven't read through them for the relevant info. bahhhh... tuesday's tutorial how?? i hope ninh, tam & peifang won't give me low peer evaluation points. ryan i can still beg him! dear, help me if ryan wanna mark me down k. haha! =P
it's 5th september already!! exactly 2 months since you left me at the airport, without talking much to me at all. haha.. almost half the waiting period has passed.. soon, soon, soon....... once you're back, all the constant tearing/crying will end... :) if they still exist, it just means you are bullying me. haha!

the 30-pax reservation was so noisy. all caucasians. hahah.. but they were nice.. so were the other tables. caroline really made me laugh when she fished the bill about. trying to get the attention of the caucasian guy. her hands too short to reach him also. so she just waved her hand abt. i was wondering what was she doing man. hahahah... it was really hilarious. even the customers found it funny i guess. i was laughing so hard!
jufri, i worked with him only twice(including tonight). he asked why i wanna leave. haha..he said very sad that i am leaving so soon after we just got to work tog. i also hate to leave. i love this job. but i really can't juggle my studies, tuition & work that well. have tendered my resignation tonight.. deva & caroline & peng keong...haha..all in my friendster!! all the people at margarita's are so nice... yes, all. servers.... chefs... bosses.... gonna work on monday mornin', fri & sat nights next week.
i feel like goin' shopping tmr....erm, which is today~ after midnight already. or should i get some proper rest.... tsk. anyways, 87 days left, daryl!!! talk to you on monday k. *muacks*
